ScreenlyyApp Store screenshot sizes
For iPhone, upload screenshots at 1320 × 2868 pixels in portrait (2868 × 1320 in landscape). App Store Connect scales them down for smaller iPhones. If your app runs on iPad, also upload 2064 × 2752 (or 2048 × 2732). Every screenshot must be PNG or JPEG with no transparency, from 1 to 10 per display size.
iPhone Duo screenshots, 2007 × 2853 for the inner display and 1398 × 2034 for the outer, become required from April 2027 for apps built with the iOS 27.1 SDK or later.
Which sizes are required
- iPhone: Apple lists iPhone with Dynamic Island (medium display) as the required iPhone class. Its fallback notes say that class uses scaled screenshots from Face ID (large display) when you don't provide it, and Face ID (large) uses scaled Dynamic Island (large display) ones. So a single set at 1320 × 2868 can cover every iPhone; App Store Connect shows which classes your upload fills.
- iPad: at least one screenshot for the 13-inch display, if your app supports iPadOS.
- iPhone Duo: required from April 2027 for apps using the iOS 27.1 SDK or later. Apps that provide them get a badge on their product page saying they're optimized for iPhone Duo.
- Mac, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro and Apple Watch: required for apps on those platforms.
If your app looks the same across sizes and languages, Apple says you only need the highest required resolution; App Store Connect scales it down for the rest. You can still upload sets made for each size instead.

Rules for every screenshot
- PNG or JPEG (
.png,.jpg,.jpeg). - No alpha channel or transparency. A PNG saved with transparency is rejected.
- At least one, and up to ten, per display size.
- They must follow the App Store Review Guidelines, like the rest of your listing.
